  1. Hi there Peter,

Thanks very much for stopping by my blog and saying hello. It seems we have a few similar imterests – circuit-bending isn’t something I’ve really touched much on in my field recording blog, but I’ve had some fun with it myself.

Your blog seems great! I really like the design, and the recordings thus far are really distinct. When I get the chance I’ll add a hyperlink to it from mine.

Are you also using the Sound Professionals SP-TFB-2 mics? I’m just waiting on a second pair to arrive having failed to repair my old pair myself!

    Kind regards,
    Ollie Hall

Thanks for your reply Ollie and glad you like my website!
I got the Sound Professionals microphones, the higher sensitive ones with lower noise floor than the normal ones which works really great.
Looking forward to hear more recordings from you! (I have added your website under my links)

      • Likewise Peter, and keep up the good work!

  2. Hi there Peter, how are you?

I noticed that you picked up a pair of the OKM II mics last year. I’m considering buying a pair myself, purely out of curiosity, and I was wondering how you would compare them to the SP-TFB-2’s.

As this is more of a whim rather than a necessity I feel a bit cautious about going ahead unless there is a significant difference.

Are you able to share your thoughts?

    Best regards,
    Ollie
